Abstract
Benoit Frydman defends the steadfast maintenance of academic freedom at ULB in the face of contemporary pressures of intensified public controversies, drawing on the Ken Loach case and historical precedents from 1894. He advocates for a strategy of serene resistance to demands for sanctions and exclusion, grounded in the principle of free examination which remains constitutive of university identity.
