Abstract
In this press article, Benoit Frydman opposes naming the 2025 graduating class of the ULB Faculty of Law after French Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan, arguing that this would constitute a submission to anti-Semitic political Islamism. Frydman cites Hassan's support for the Assad regime in Syria and the Algerian regime, as well as the investigations against her for the glorification of terrorism and threats of violence, notably against Imam Hassen Chalghoumi. He invokes the historical commitment of the ULB against anti-Semitism and calls on the Rector and the Academic Council to review the decision should the Faculty Council approve it.

Dans cet article de presse, Benoît Frydman s'oppose à la nomination de la promotion 2025 de la faculté de droit de l'ULB au nom de l'eurodéputée française Rima Hassan, arguant que cela constituerait une soumission à l'islamisme politique antisémite.
