Abstract

A research team from the Centre de Philosophie du Droit at the Université Libre de Bruxelles developed an open-access online database titled Human Rights Network International under the coordination of Ludovic Hennebel and supervision of Guy Haarscher and Benoit Frydman. The site provides free access to the full text of international human rights conventions and declarations, major jurisprudence from Europe and worldwide in French and English, along with selected scholarly articles, a directory of over three hundred human rights actors (international organizations, research institutes, NGOs), and a thematic classification system enabling targeted research. Officially inaugurated at an international colloquium in October, this project aims to democratize access to legal information in the field of human rights.
